Cold Open[]
The Mysterious Narrator starts with her dialog "Gentlemen... Behold!" and shows a book, then, Arthur Watts interrupts and says "you can just call me Arthur...I mean, Hazel and Tyrian aren't here" when she notices Banjo Kazooie behind Watts.
Plot[]
Transcript[]
As the screen goes near the Land of Darkness, the letters "Evernight Castle - Land of Darkness, somewhere in Remnant" appears for a few seconds, then the screen crossfades to the mysterious narrator, who is hiding something behind her.
Mysterious Narrator: Gentlemen, behold! ...A book!
Watts: You can just call me "Arthur". I mean, Hazel and Tyrian aren't here.
The narrator stares at Watts in silence, the screen goes back to him, showing an illusion wih the form of Banjo Kazooie behind him.
Watts: ...right?
The narrator stays in silence for a few more seconds, until she talks in shock.
Mysterious Narrator: MY MIND!!!
After the opening ends, the episode begins with the screen showing a book that is being read by Ruby Rose.
Ruby: "Once upon a time, there was a lovely princess. But she had an enchantment upon her of a fearful sort, which could only be broken by love's first kiss. She was locked away in a castle, guarded by a terrible fire-breathing dragon. Many brave knights had attempted to free her from the dreadful prison, but none prevailed. She waited in the dragon's keep, in the highest room of the tallest tower, for her true love and true love's first kiss." (Sarcastic) Yeah, like that's gonna happen in real life. Disney is a complete-- (Paper Rustling, Toilet Flushes)
Ruby hops out her house and starts her routine which involves her taking a mud shower and farting in her pool and finally smoking. Later on, she is seen listening to music in a music shop; as she does, a fancy guy and two of his henchmen head down an alley from the shadows. They stop behind the guy in white clothes, who stares menacingly and grins before walking down the road, frightening nearby citizens as they make their way towards the music shop and goes near the Shopkeep.
Shopkeep: P-please! Just take my money and leave!
Fancy guy: Shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. (to the henchmen) Grab the Dust.
A henchman goes behind the shopkeep and starts examinating him as another henchman goes to assault the only client inside: Ruby Rose, who was listening to music with her earphones at full volume...
Henchman: Hands up! Feets down 'cuz this is an assault!
Due to that, Ruby can't listen to him, neither notice him. He then says.
Henchman: I said: Hands up! Feets down 'cuz this is an assault!
The thing continues for six hours straight, the guy can be seen anoyed.
Henchman: For fuck's sake i said: Hands up! Feets down 'cuz this is an assault!
Nothing happens, then the henchman unleashes an earrape that leds Ruby drop her earphones for a while.
Ruby: Yes?
Henchman: Goddammit kid we're in middle of a robbery and you're listening to music with your earphones very loud! Don't they teached you that tragic accidents has occurred because of that? Not to mention you are going to be deaf sooner or later.
Ruby: So are you robbing me?
Henchman: Yes!
Ruby: Ooohhh...
Outside, the henchman flies from being attacked by Ruby, the fancy guy calmly motions for another to handle Ruby. When the other henchman approaches her, a car crahses him, showing a duck with the letters "Untitled Car Meme".
Fancy guy: Impressive. You've got all my attention. Well, Red, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around. ...I'm afraid this is where we part ways.
After finishing his speech, the guy teleports away.
Ruby: Shit where'd he go!? You okay if I go after him?
The shopkeeper gives a nod, and Ruby sets off. The mysterious man makes it to the roof, with Ruby appearing right in fron of him.
Ruby: You think you can escape from crossing fate i mean the greatest Ruby Rose?
A woman in a purple cape is now in front of Ruby.
Woman: Out of the way you casual Fortnite player, let the professionals like me catch this criminal!
An helicopter then appears with italian music in the background.
Fancy guy: Hah! Now y'all are screwed up see ya l8r!
A woman in red with a fake moustache is seen ready to eat some spaghetti.
Woman in red: Yeah imma gonna hav myself some italian food time!!
Fancy guy: We got a Huntress!
The woman stays in silence, then an italian "Triggered" appears on screen, immediately she gets up and heads toward the back as Roman takes the controls. The woman's arms and chest light up like fire, aiming a burst of energy at the woman in pruple and Ruby, finally hitting not only them but also destroying the city. Ruby and the woman are lying on the ground in silence, but Ruby decides to break it.
Ruby: So you're a Huntress! Can i have your autograph?!
The woman simply gets up and looks at Ruby angrily. Then the letters "One Fuck You! Later" appears on screen.
At Becaon Academy, the woman scolds Ruby for her actions.
Woman: I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger.
Ruby: They started it!
The woman then smells Ruby and gets shocked by knowing her cocaine smell.
Woman: Is that cocaine!? Missy! Now i know you are lying to me! Every person who loves drugs are bad people!!
Then a voice interrups the woman's scolding.
Man: (Voice) Okay Glynda, i think you did enough for now. (The scene cuts at him) Ruby Rose... You... have silver eyes.
Ruby angrily tries to attack the man but Glynda is just trying to stop her from causing violence.
Ruby: WHAT DID YOU SAY!? Do you have any problem with that, you racist man!?
Ozpin: Please call me Ozpin. And no, i'm not being racist. I just want to ask you: Where did you learn to do this?
Ruby: Signal Academy, my uncle Qrow taught me everything he knows, well, and i guess a bit of drugs i have at home helped me too. Frankly, i just want to become a huntress because a Grimm i met as a child raped my mom and the next day she died from AIDS. Since that day, i promised myself that i will never rest until the Grimm species vanishes from existence like an extinct animal.
Ozpin: Interesting. I see you already have your own goal. Not all the hunters who study here have a goal proposed even after its graduation. Wanna come to my school?
Ruby: More than anything.
Glynda angrily stares in silence for a few seconds.
Glynda: (Leaving) FAK U-HO NYUGGAH!!!
Ozpin: Well... Welcome to Beacon Academy, Ruby Rose.
The scene crossfades to Ruby talking alongside her big sister.
Ruby's Sister: I can't believe we're finally studying together sissy! This is the best day ever!!
Ruby: It was nothing, Yang. Please stop.
Yang: What are you talkin' about? You were incredible stopping that robbery last night! People out there or even everyone in this Memeverse will consider you a heroine among heroes! I mean, if Akatsuki did it almost 80 years ago, you can be like him in the present era!
The girls' attention is drawn to the newscast on Vale News Network playing nearby, talking about the robbery and showing Roman's trick card
Reporter: The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you, Lisa.
The trick card changes to Lisa Lavender, with a photo of animal-eared demonstrators holding signs saying "WE ARE NOT ANIMALS!" followed by an image of a girl with a black bow and soldiers with animal traits next.
Lisa: Thanks Cyril. In other news, we've discovered some Faunus that are still alive after the massacre caused by the dangerous criminal Blake Belladonna who, like Roman Torchwick, continues to evade authorities, White Fang members will not rest until they caught her dead or alive. On the brighter side: JUNES COMMERCIAL!!!
Ruby and Yang: YAY!!!!!
